Volunteers are our eyes and ears around the Airshow and we are grateful to everyone who has assisted us in the past. Your enthusiasm, energy and willingness to help goes a long way to ensuring our patrons have an outstanding Airshow.

WE NEED YOU BACK FOR 2028 - REGISTRATIONS WILL BE OPEN TO VOLUNTEER MID TO LATE 2027

Join our Hi Viz heroes at Warbirds Over Wanaka, become part of our team where you will meet new people, participate in various roles and see some extraordinary flying and ground displays all while having a good time doing it. You will receive a Warbirds Over Wanaka cap and lunch in appreciation for helping out.

There is a job for everyone, you can learn new skills and experience the fun of volunteering.

We are looking for fun, friendly, community-minded people to help us deliver the 2028 Airshow.

The Warbirds Over Wanaka Community Trust aims 'To educate through the celebration and promotion of aviation past and present' and puts funds back in to the local region.
