There are numerous opportunities to have a Flight Experience over the Warbirds Over Wanaka Easter weekend.
Local operators and visiting aircraft owners will be offering flights in many different aircraft types from an open cockpit Tiger Moth experience to a WWII Fighter aircraft to more modern jets and helicopters. You will deal directly with the company offering the flights in terms of cost and flight times. Some flights are available before the Airshow, a number of operators are happy to take you up early or later on the actual airshow days while others are available on Easter Monday immediately following the event.
NB: If you are coming out on the Wednesday or Thursday before the airshow or the Monday after there is no entry fee to the airport.
Our team at the Warbirds Over Wanaka information marquee will be able to give you more information during the Airshow.
