A huge thank you to all past and present Warbirds Over Wanaka volunteers - we celebrate having so many of you on board for so long.  Thank you!

Volunteers are our eyes and ears around the Airshow and we are grateful to everyone who has assisted us in the past. Your enthusiasm, energy and willingness to help goes a long way to ensuring our patrons have an outstanding Airshow. 

THANKS TO OUR WONDERFULL TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS, WE NEED YOU BACK FOR 2026 - REGISTRATIONS WILL BE OPEN MID 2025.

We normally have between 250 and 300 volunteers, depending on the ground and air displays we put together.

Please consider volunteering for Warbirds Over Wanaka 2026 where you will meet new people, see some extraordinary flying displays, enjoy a free lunch and serve a very worthy cause.  The Warbirds Over Wanaka Community Trust aims 'To educate through the celebration and promotion of aviation past and present' and puts funds back in to the local region.
