The John Fisher Collection of Aviation History

Mossgreen is honoured to be entrusted with The John Fisher Collection of Aviation HistoryMG Fisher A4.

Entrepreneur, pilot, philanthropist and avid aviation collector, John Fisher lived a full and exceptional life.
His passion for aviation and his interest in aeroplanes culminated in the resolution to build a private air museum. He travelled the world, buying parts, aircraft and collectables to make his dream a reality. The Old Aviators Flying Museum Inc., based at Maryborough Aerodrome focused on the classic era of Aviation from 1910 to 1950, with a dedicated focus on aircraft designed by the British aviation icon Geoffrey de Havilland and encompassed a unique collection of aviation memorabilia.

Tragically, John Fisher and passenger, David Oxley, were killed in 2012 when his Tiger Moth experienced a power failure during take-off from the Maryborough aerodrome.
